Nervous-system whisperer. Radiance restorer. Dog-loving mess of joy.
I’m Jolie—originally a born-and-raised New Yorker, now embracing Memphis rhythms with my gentle-hearted husband and our crew of kids, stepsons, and rescue dogs who might just rule the house.
My journey spans social work, elementary teaching, therapy, and guidance counseling—all leading me here: helping women navigate life beyond gray area drinking, anxiety, and chronic overwhelm.
I’ve walked the path myself—grappling with quiet cravings, racing thoughts, and the ache of being “on” all the time. I used wine for quiet. I used routines to feel safe. What changed everything for me wasn’t willpower—it was re-listening to my body.
I created the Alcohol-Free Afterglow Experience to offer women somatic tools for real transformation: nervous system regulation, calming rituals, emotional insight—and yes, radiant presence.
Here’s how I hold space:
I don’t shame the wine. I reframe the message.
I don’t tell you to try harder. I teach body-led practices that anchor you in ease.
I don’t believe in perfection. I believe in you stepping softly into your own glow.
When I’m not guiding spacious, heart-hearing work, I can be found on a pickleball court (still nailing that backhand), watching Ted Lasso, or curled up with a book under a pile of dogs.
I’m not here to fix you.
I’m here to walk beside you—showing you again and again: your glow was never gone. It’s just been waiting for safety, softness, and presence to come home.
Are you ready to reclaim your Afterglow?
Through my somatic body-calming practice, I’ve learned how to ground myself—gently and quickly—no matter what’s unfolding around me.
These practices not only brought more ease to my nervous system, they also helped me see my own patterns with gray area drinking.
As my body became calmer, the urge to reach for alcohol began to soften. From that place of safety and clarity, I began using a heart-hearing journaling practice to uncover and release long-held emotions that had quietly shaped my choices for decades.
Today, I don’t need alcohol to numb what I now know how to feel.
And that changes everything.
